Description (English)

Timezone: CEST.
This session is dedicated to the value chains created on the basis of digitised cultural resources. We want to discuss how added value and impact - economic, social or cultural - is being created by reusing these resources in new services, products or projects.
We hope that together we can deepen our understanding of how digitised cultural digital resources are reused and to what effect. We are interested in value chains created both within the Cultural and Creative Sectors and the "Culture 3.0" sector, characterised by grassroots cultural participation and production.
We invite professionals who would like to share and discuss both conceptual models and case studies of reuse of digital heritage resources. We are inviting:
- representatives of cultural heritage institutions
- academics and researchers
- representatives of Cultural and Creative Sector companies
- representatives of Open GLAM non-profits, activists and leaders of grassroots projects
Gathering all these perspectives will give us valuable insights that we can use to create guidelines and policy recommendations matching the stakeholder needs.
Programme:
We will present our preliminary findings and details of the model we are creating to grasp the value and impact of digital heritage resources. Participants will be asked to actively engage in a focus group activity to discuss their examples and case studies of digital heritage reuse.
More detailed information about the programme will follow shortly.

Timezone: CEST.
This session is dedicated to the value chains created on the basis of digital cultural heritage. We want to discuss how (re)use of resources through new services, initiatives and products creates impact and added cultural, social and economic value.
We hope that together we can deepen our understanding of how digitised cultural digital resources are reused and to what effect. We are interested in value chains created both within the Cultural and Creative Sectors and the "Culture 3.0" regime, characterised by grassroots cultural participation and production. Our focus is also on policies that support such (re)use and help create positive cultural value chains.
Our workshop is targetted at professionals who would like to share and discuss both conceptual models and case studies of reuse of digital heritage resources. We are inviting:
- representatives of cultural heritage institutions;
- academics and researchers;
- representatives of Cultural and Creative Sector companies;
- representatives of Open GLAM non-profits, activists and leaders of grassroots projects.
Gathering all these perspectives will give us valuable insights that we can use to create guidelines and policy recommendations matching the stakeholder needs.
Programme:
We will start the workshop by presenting our preliminary findings as well as a conceptual model aimed at describing how value chains are created on the basis of digital heritage resources.
Afterwards, we will collectively analyse cases of (re)use of digital cultural heritage and discuss what kind of impact they generate, and how they can be framed in terms of cultural value chains.
In preparation for this workshop, we are collecting examples of (re)use of digital cultural heritage. We will be grateful for providing us with cases by filling out a simple survey.
