About
inDICEs is a research project funded by the Horizon 2020 programme as a response to the new challenges imposed by the digitisation and the Digital Single Market on the European culture: intellectual property rights and copyright.
The goal of inDICEs is to empower policy-makers and decision-makers in the cultural heritage sector to understand the social and economic impact of digitisation in the cultural sector. The project also intends to address the need for innovative (re)use of cultural assets. With this purpose in mind, the project is set to develop a solid framework to assess and measure the impact of cultural heritage.
inDICEs brings together a consortium of 15 organisations from 9 different European countries. The Consortium is made up by international research groups in the domains of Cultural Economics, representatives from the Cultural and Creative Industries with deep insights in the sector, Cultural Heritage Institutions and NGO’s.
